Customer Appreciation

Customer appreciation should happen year round, but a perfect time to appreciate our customers and clients is Thanksgiving.  Many people do holiday gifts closer to the Christmas holiday, so an idea to set yourself apart is to send a thank you gift at Thanksgiving.

When sending gifts, be thoughtful.  If sending food, you want to think about if your customer or client has food allergies, is a vegetarian, etc.  Another idea is to send clients useful gifts that will help them in their business. If sending promotional items, be sure those are useful and good quality.

Last year I was going to send mug warmers that hooked up to the USB of the computer as part of my customer appreciation gift.  What a novel concept, except the warmers never really got all that warm.  Thankfully, I was working with a promotional item company who had the foresight to get me samples before I had a hundred of these imprinted with my logo.

A nice idea for a useful gift could be a "how -to" book relating to your expertise or their business and attach an imprinted book light.  There are many ideas out there, but the purpose of your gift should be to thank your customer with an item that is useful and/or enjoyable.  Dealing with a company who does the shopping for you can greatly assist in ensuring you choose just the right gift.

One final note, I would be remiss if I did not use this opportunity to thank all our clients.  Our clients are fantastic and we appreciate each and every one of you!
